a) At the 150th km of the Athens–Lamia National Road, at the Arkitsa ferry port, you board the ferry boat and after a 40-minute crossing, you arrive at Loutra Edipsou, from where the road distance to Ilia is 9 km. The Athens–Ilia route can be comfortably covered in 2 hours.
b) The second option is entirely by road via Chalkida. Through a beautiful route with rich vegetation, dominated by majestic plane trees, pines, and olive trees, after passing Prokopi, Saint John the Russian, the picturesque Limni, and the village of Rovies built among olive groves, you reach Ilia.
Visitors coming from Northern and Central Greece can use the Glyfa ferry. After crossing to Agiokampos Istiaias, you continue from there to your destination.
Classification: The springs are classified as hyperthermal Cl-Na-Ca-K-Br-B medicinal saline waters. In some areas, they are highly carbonated.
